Privacy Policy
Thank you for using vSocial Desktop Application (“the Application”). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to ensuring transparency regarding data usage.
1. Information We Collect
The Application does not collect, store, or share any personal information. It runs with standard user permissions and operates entirely within the user's local environment without accessing sensitive data. We recommend to use the app in a controlled environment like withing a virtual machine.
2. Data Usage & Storage
Since the Application does not collect personal information, there is no data storage, processing, or transfer involved. Any application-related settings or preferences remain on your local device and are not transmitted externally. Also, when you host the vSocial web app locally, all test users and test data are stored locally in mysql local database.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application does not integrate with third-party services that collect user data. If external resources or APIs are used, they function within standard system boundaries without tracking personal information.
4. Security
We ensure that the Application adheres to best security practices, including operating within standard Windows permissions. As no personal data is handled, risks related to data exposure are minimal. As this is a demo application, and the vSocial web app is intentionally made vulnerable for learning application security concepts, we recommend to use a virtual machine for local hosting and while running the apps, disable internet connection for better security measures.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any modifications will be clearly communicated within the Application or on our official website.
6. Contact Information
